 17 lb channel cat

17 lb. channel catfish. I was luck enough to actually catch 3 Nebraska Master Angler sized channel catfish on this one morning in October in just a little over 3 hours of fishing. This fish was released.

12 pound channel catfish cat at Werspahn Lake in June 2004. Caught by Steve on live goldfish right at dark in two feet of water.

A nice 12 lb channel I caught at Wehrspan in June. Thanks Matt!! Caught on a live goldfish. This fish took the bait in two feet of water! Released.
a large, dumb, largemouth bass that took my cut bait while I was fishing for catfish out at Werspahn Lake near Omaha.

A dumb LMB that ate my chub cutbait a Wehrspan in early August. Note 5/0 circle hook in the corner of his mouth. Stupid fish.... 19"/4 lb. Released
deb with a nice 12 lb. channel catfish she caught at Two River in June 2004

This is Deb with a great 12 lb. channel cat that she caught and landed all on her own. Also at Two Rivers in early June. Oh yeah, but I let her use my fishing rod...and she makes me bait her hook...and take her fish off. Deb just really started fishing seriously in the past year (of course she does, she just met me in the past year!) and she really likes to go after the big ones. Released.

This is a 15 lb. carp that I got the same day. This fish fought like mad and I was hoping it was going to be a gigantic cat. But big carp are fun too! Released.

All of these fish were released after posing for these pictures, unless otherwise noted.
